depending on how you look at it … this one is actually pretty scary π³ (and mind-blowing)
#tdil that there is a random bit of space that consists of absolute nothingness π³
by that, i mean that there is a massive void that contains literally nothing … like, zero light or planets or stars or anything! π it’s called ‘boΓΆtes void’ and it was discovered in 1981 by robert kirshner and co π€.
(i’m deffo not qualified to talk about this … so this video might be better than my text π)
at nearly 330 million light years in diameter it’s one of the biggest voids in the universe and no one really knows how it happened π€·π»ββοΈ like, it’s thought that everything in the universe was distributed evenly after the big bang π
the main theory about where it came from is that it’s the result of lots of smaller voids joining together … like soap bubbles do ππ» other theories, however, range from black holes and worm holes to aliens and super advanced ai beings π½
regardless of where it came from, it’s pretty scary to think that there’s just a random bit of completely empty space out there π³ no one knows where it came from or why it’s there and no one knows what could possibly be lurking in there! π
pretty short again today … but i’m totally not qualified to teach you this stuff π i just thought it was cool π€
byeeee π #tdil
