so yeah, i actually only realised this because i’ve recently been rewatching all of big bang on netflix 🙈but, the amy’s mom that you see at her wedding isn’t the same as we saw in season four!
originally only seen on a skype call between amy, sheldon and amy’s mom, the actress that played the role was annie o’donnell 👍🏻
at amy and sheldon’s wedding however, the actress that played amy’s mom was kathy bates!? 😳 why would they go do the ole switcharoo?? 🤷🏻♂️
well, it turns out that the reason for the switch was simply because they wanted the role of amy’s mom to be a recurring thing and, whilst annie bossed it, the series creators felt kathy was better 🙄
the answer actually came in an interview between the show’s creator and the website, tvline.com 👍🏻 i guess it’s just showbiz, but i can’t help but feel sorry for annie! why not just keep her? 😭😭
but yeah, there’s your reason! it’s simply because the important peeps preferred kathy 🤷🏻♂️ which seems a bit mean … but at least kathy is a lol 😊
