today i learned – thurs 15th nov 2018

the dystopian future of film land looks like it might be one step closer 🙈

#tdil some large british companies are planning to microchip all of their staff members 😳

so, yeah, how darn stalkerish/imposing does this whole concept sound? 🙃 like, you’d literally have to take a little piece of work with you everywhere that you go … 24/7 … your place of work would literally be inside you! 😳

apparently, this whole plan actually has nothing to do with knowing where you are, etc … instead, it’s all about the company’s security 👍🏻 basically, the implant would work the same as a swipe/id card 💳

the thinking is, instead of giving everyone a plastic card that allows them to enter parts of buildings, buy stuff, activate equipment and etc, the implant would do it with a wave of the hand #magic

the tiny chip – about the size of a grain of rice – goes between the thumb and index finger and is super easy to administer … so easy, in fact, that multiple companies in sweden already seem to offer the service! 😳

one of which – called biohax – is apparently in talks with a number of large uk legal and financial firms to get the tech implanted … literally 🙈

i don’t know about you guys, but the day that someone at work tells me i need this, i’m walking straight out of those doors! 🙈 i’ve seen the films! who knows what those chips could actually do!? 🤔

peace out 🙌🏻 #tdil

after that super scary piece of info … you probably need something a bit lighter? 🙈 yeah? just go ->here<-

(image time! the header is ->here<- and the other is ->here<-)
