today i learned – sat 3rd nov 2018

feel like this is possibly one of those spurious facts you see every now and then … meh, i like it πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

#tdil more americans died from dog attacks in 2002 than from shark attacks in the last 100 years! 🦈

hmmmmm, maybe they should have made jaws a film about a scary dog! 🐢 … or maybe it’s just that more people spend more time around dogs πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ either way, it’s a pretty mental stat that i quite enjoy.

sharks are known across the world as super scary apex predators, yet more people tend to die due to those lovely little fur creatures that we keep in our houses! 😱

anyway, the numbers! apparently, in 2002, 15 people died from dog attacks … yet a whole zero people died from sharks! πŸ™ˆπŸ¦ˆ that’s something that tends to be a trend … with around 20/30 people dying every year from dogs and only one or two from sharks

amusingly, shark stats tend to be called “unprovoked shark attacks” … which makes me wonder who’s going out there and deliberately trying to get eaten by jaws 😳 someone should probably get them some milk πŸ˜…

you know, that’s pretty much it πŸ˜… this kinda pointless fact is all you’re getting today! πŸ˜‚

bye! πŸ™ˆ #tdil

this blog is totally 100% going downhill πŸ˜‚ fancy reading something actually decent? just take a look ->here<-
