today i learned – fri 6th apr 2018

i feel that this one is going to be another quick one today πŸ˜… like, really quick …

but, it’s about japan πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ so, regardless, you know it’s going to be good 😏

#tdil that japanese people will not cross the road without a little green man 🚦

now, by little green man, i mean that little dude that appears after you’ve waited for an age for the lights to change πŸ‘πŸ» … not a small dude covered in algae πŸ˜…

but yeah, unlike us anarchists over here in the uk, the peeps of japan will not cross the road under a red light … instead, they will always wait for the green light to appear … even if there are zero cars anywhere to be seen 🏎

now, to me that sounds pretty surreal … like, if there are no cars around, i’m not waiting! πŸ™ˆ but when you think about it, it’s actually testament to how seriously the japanese take the rules.

it’s kind of a thing that the japanese follow the law of the land to the very letter … this is certainly the perfect demonstration! πŸ˜…

and that’s literally everything πŸ˜‚ told you that it would be short! at least now, when you visit japan, you’ll know to always wait for the green light! πŸ‘πŸ»

if you want to learn more things that you should deffo do when you visit japan, i learned this fact from here –

right, i’m off to bed! have a gooden’ peeps 😁

miss ya! πŸ˜… #tdil
