today i learned – thurs 15th mar 2018

as a serial chocolate eater 🍫, i feel that i really like this fact

i think that kids all over the world will also adore this fact 😏

#tdil that eating sugar doesn’t actually make you hyper 😜

yep, whilst most parents would swear that sugar turns their child into an absolute terror, scientific research shows that it actually doesn’t have any effect 😳

that’s right, a blind study done by oklahoma university health sciences center in 1990 determined that sugar highs are actually parents’ expectations getting higher 😓 … which sounds a little unfair 🙈

dr.mark wolraich (of the aforementioned university) said that it’s an easy mistake to make … after-all, kids usually eat loads of sugar at parties and in other exciting situations.

of course, kids get really excited and hyper at parties and the like, meaning that parents mistake their kids being super excited because of the party for having a sugar-high 🤷🏻‍♂️

the science? well, if someone without low blood sugar has some sugary goodness, their body will regulate the sugars and only take the energy that it needs … it’s clever like that 👍🏻

i think that brings us to the moral of the story – eat as much galaxy as possible before bed 😏 it ain’t gonna make you hyper … but it will make you fat 😅

right, that’s us done for today 😜 let me know your thoughts on this in the comments!
