today i learned – tues 6th mar 2018

today, i feel like we’re going to answer one of the most important questions that have ever been asked 🤔

i mean, what was this blog even made for if not answering questions like this?! 😱

#tdil the difference between chewing gum and bubble gum 🍬 (told ya, only hard hitting stuff on this blog 💪🏻)

i’ll be honest, i’ve genuinely posed this question in my head at least three times during my time on this here earth … like, are they actually any different or is it just marketing? 🤔

asked the same question? well, wonder no more! i’m about to clear it all up for you 😏 #yourewelcome

it turns out that the main difference is actually the ingredients used 👍🏻 you see, the different mission objectives of the gums, requires different genetic make up.

the base of chewing gum is actually a natural ingredient called ‘chicle’ – a gum harvested from the sopapilla tree 🌴. whilst chewing gum is chewy, it won’t blow big bubbles 🙄

that’s where bubble gum comes in! instead of a natural base, bubble gum is based upon various lab designed starches and polymers that were made specifically for epic bubble making 😎

so there you go, the difference between the two is their specific aim in life … it’s like how sharks are made to swim and sloths made to sleep 🤷🏻‍♂️ everyone has their thing 😘

right, whilst this was an admittedly pointless post, that’s us done for today 😂

sleep well 😍 #tdil

i really love these pointless posts, they’re the best! 😁 if you feel like reading more (slightly more educational) posts, take yo’self over ->here<-

(you’d be amazed how hard it is to find pictures of chewing gum 🙄 had to get inventive 🤷🏻‍♂️. licenses – picture one is ->here<-, two is ->here<- and the header is ->here<-)
