today i learned – weds 10th jan 2018

if you’re a bit of a geek (like me πŸ€“) then you’re probably pretty excited about the thought of vr taking off πŸ™ŒπŸ»

as if the realism of vr wasn’t enough … some clever sausage has come up with this little pleasure to get you even more excited 😱

#tdil someone has invented a suit that simulates pain when playing a cheeky bit of vr 😏

well, they’ve kind of invented it πŸ˜… … it’s on kickstarter at least πŸ˜‚

anyway, the suit is called the ‘teslasuit’ and it’s currently on kickstarter with the aim of gaining Β£250,000 πŸ’°

what it basically does is use loads of different ‘feedback points’ to lightly zap parts of the wearer’s body and simulate certain things that are happening in the game.

think of it this way, you could be on call of duty getting shot or exploded and you’ll feel it … or you could be in a game where it is raining and you’ll feel the rain on you. apparently, there’s also an optional temperature module that makes the latter even more interesting! 🌧

the suit itself is nothing more than a two piece outfit that is made from neoprene that is interlaced with conductive thread πŸ‘πŸ». you’ll be happy to know that it is also completely washable πŸ˜‚ … so, you can play super realistic outlast without a worry πŸ™ˆπŸ’©

vr is very much still in its infancy and this suit is only concept … but it’s a pretty cool sounding invention 😏 that said, it’s only a matter of time before we all end up in a real life version of the movie gamer 😳

anyway, this was short but sweet … i’m getting they flu they everyone has … so i’m going to bed πŸ€’

much love 😴 #tdil
