today i learned – sun 31st dec 2017

here it is … the very last post of 2017 😱 it feels pretty nuts to say that tbh 😳

anyway, we shall spend our last post of the year looking a weird ole new year tradition 😂

#tdil that, if you live in spain, it is customary to eat 12 grapes on new years 🍇

normally, eating grapes isn’t all that weird 😂 but in this case it seems to take on totally new meaning because of how specific it is 🙈

basically, at midnight on new year’s eve, you’re supposed to barrel down 12 grapes … one on each of the 12 strokes of midnight.

the reason? well, good luck of course! the spanish believe that eating the 12 grapes will bring you luck for the coming year – you see, each grape signifies luck in each of the 12 months 👍🏻

there’s not much else to say on this really 😅 i guess it just made me lol a little 😂

all that leaves me to say is: happy new year you crazy blog reading peeps 😘 thank you for all of the support this year, it means a hella lot 😱 … the blog is now nearly a whole year old! thank you for all being awesome 😁

much love! 😍 #tdil
