today i learned – thurs 7th dec 2017

do you remember the post we had recently about pummel horse riding? 🐴 (it was glorious … i strongly suggest that you go read it)

anyway … yeah, today’s fact pretty much follows that trend of weird sports 😬

#tdil that there is actually such a thing as rabbit show jumping 🐰

you know what, now i think about it, rabbit show jumping isn’t actually that strange πŸ˜‚ anyway, we’re committed now … so let’s just go with it πŸ‘πŸ»

it’s apparently a sport that originated in sweden (of course) before spreading out to other parts of the world – in 2015 an event was even held in the uk πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ … here’s a video to prove i’m not lying πŸŽ₯ (skip to about 50 seconds for the action πŸ€™πŸ»)

it’s pretty much exactly as it says on the tin … a sport that sees rabbits trying to complete an assault course (well, straight run with hurdles) … the fastest is the winner πŸ™‚ #simples

apparently it’s a really interesting sport to watch! rabbits are capable of jumping a metre high straight up and half-a-metre high when clearing a hurdle 😱 which is actually pretty darn amazing?!

it’d certainly be a sight to see 😬 … maybe it’s one that needs investigating one day? lololol

right, that’s everything … pretty simple one today πŸ™ŒπŸ» hopefully you enjoyed this highly useless info πŸ˜‚

laterz taterz πŸ₯” #tdil
